Matthew 25:40, where Jesus says, "the King will reply, 'Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me'". Volunteering has shaped my journey in life. It serves a constant reminder that to much given, much is required. Whether it’s volunteer at my church for the past 10 years as an Usher, mentoring middle schoolers and assisting with construction projects of new homes in Costa Rica. I also have two weekly hospital volunteer opportunities which are very satisfying when I help new patients navigate when they arrive and when I’m assisting the medical professional with delivering supplies and sanitizing areas for a healthier environment.
